In the 40-50hp range, it is very close with ALL the tractor manufacturers IMO. Pretty much comes down to personal preferences. I think that you will be very happy with the 4047. The only thing that you might check on ASAP is what it would cost to get the 3rd rear remote . You can never have enough rear remotes. None of us are getting any younger and having hydraulics to make our adjustments sure is nice. At least this way you would have the full capability of your machine at your finger tips.

Great idea! I was going to send my dealer a note about having a tooth bar added to the bucket, and will ask about a 3rd remote at the same time.

Thanks, I'm pretty jazzed about it. In fact, I can't wait for it to get here, because I've got projects lined up that will keep it busy for a long time!

No, I didn't try filling the buckets (sort of hard to do with a foot of snow everywhere). If the literature is correct, the Kioti loader will lift about 260lbs more, and has a max height that's about 10-11" higher. That was definitely one of the big pluses for the Kioti.

I have had the "EZ" version of the 4041 (2011) for over a year (180hrs) - it has been good to me ... only problems were ones that I brought about. The only irritant I have is that the rad hose clamps tend to vibrate lose every so often ... nothing that would stop me from buying it again.

Good to know on the hose clamps! I've been told that its a good idea to go over the entire tractor and loader to check for loose bolts during the first 50 or so hours....certainly can't hurt to check, and add things like the hose clamps.

Had to stop at the dealer to sign the finance paperwork (needed the serial #), and my shiny, clean, new R4047H was all ready to go....can't wait to get her dirty! That didn't sound right, but you know what I mean They're delivering on Sat. Pictures to follow shortly!
