JD 6330, JD 5055e, Ford 4000,
I am looking at a few tractors and have not made up my mind. In addition to the JD, I am looking at New Hollands. I know more about the NH, and have narrowed my search down to a T5070 if I go that route. As for the JD's, I am looking at a 5115M and a 6330. At this farm, I turn ground with a chisel plow and disc to plant corn, I also have super heavy duty 8 foot tiller, and a 3008 Bushog mower. I don't bale hay so it is mainly planting and mowing. Which would you pick if the price were essentially the same?

Is the 6330 a premium or a standard? No matter what the 6330 will handle the farm implements no matter what and plus the 6330 is a tier 3 unit instead of a interim tier 4, you'll probably save more fuel too. The 6330 will be more comfortable too since the wheelbase and tires are larger and less bottoming out. With a 5115M the frame? will scrape the bottom with loose soil.

Still would be better than a 5115M, since it has a power quad  when disking you can work your way up by changing gears easily but when using a Power Reverser it won't like to be changed on the go while disking or chiseling.

Go with the 6330!

Not sure what you are trying to say regarding the power reverser and not liking changing on the go.

When you clutch, to change on a Power Reverser when pulling a disk or anything the tractor will immediately stop.

With a power quad, you just tap and shift up one gear, it bumps it from in example C1 to C2 and it keeps going, unlike a PR it will need you to make the tractor stop and change gears, unefficient when disking.

The 6330 might be a bit smaller on the hp, but its a better choice if I was to choose.

If the physical size of the 6330 is not a problem vs the 5115M, Get the 6330!
As Edward says the power quad is "no brainer" upgrade.
