I notice the New Holland has telescoping 3pt link ends and telescoping stabilizers. These are a definite plus. Personally I wouldn't be worried about the rear end on the New Holland. Many tractors have used that design over the years. A good friends Allis 5040 has the same setup and hasn't caused any problems in 4-5000 hours. Between the Deere or New Holland I don't think you'd be disappointed.

The massy ferguson dealer quoted me 32,453. That included a skid steer type fel instead of what was on it, and 2nd hydraulic remote, filling the tires with fluid and delivery. It's a 74 hp,62 hp pto. The only two dislikes I had on this tractor were the clearance on the back end and the placing of the gears shifters, they could have made the handles longer, I had to bend and reach to shift it. It has independent pto and a 8f x 8r synchro shuttle transmission.

I won't say much on the 6530. He quoted me 28430.00 on it. It has two remotes on back also. I didn't dislike this tractor but I figured for 4,000 more I could get the 8560.
6530 is a 65hp I think a 53 pto. 8fx 8r synchro shuttle.

The 8560 was quote at 32,700.00. 2 remotes. It has 83hp 70pto. This thing was a big boy it weighs in around 7000 lbs. I really had nothing that I disliked about this tractor. I just don't know about the quality of mahindra products. I know a couple ppl that has them and th oth love em. They ont use their's like I'll be using mine though. Ppl seem to always have a company they like to talk down on and some choose mahindra. I've heard the pto are light wight on Hesse tractors and they won't hold up if you use them bailing hay. I don't have but maybe 20 acres to bail so it won't spend that much mid pulling a bailer. We also have the 2510 we use or that also.
The transmission was 12fx 12R synchro shuttle. It was the smoothest shifting of the tractors I was on today.

Well, you got a good problem. I like the Deere, the Mahindra is good but that model is not one of my favorites. I have not had any problems from my pto, knock on wood. What are the warranties? Last time I was at my dealer they had an 8560 I believe, said they would make a good deal on it. The tractor store in forest, 601 469-2832. Talk to tony and tell him Jody told you about it. They are open until noon on sat.

I think on the new 65 and 75 case IH (the same as the work master) they don't have the planetaries drive any more and they are suppose to be shuttle shift like the 45 and 55 in that series. Not 100 percent sure just Rember reading that some where!

For a haying tractor I think you would enjoy as many gears as possible. My Deere is a 9x3 synch shuttle. I think the 12x12 power reverser on the 5083e would suit you well.

The warranties were pretty much the same on the new holland, John Deere, and Massey Ferguson, with a 2 yr bumper to bumper or ball ends to loader. The mahindra has a 5 yr powertrain and i think its a 3 yr in everything else. I do like the pwr reverser on the John Deere. I was looking for a 5065m at first till the dealer told me they no longer made them. I was trying to stay around 30,000 with my purchase. Reyer Farms why do you not like that model of mahindra? I looked at both the case ih and the new Hollands, the case dealer didn't have any of the 65a in stock at the time so I assumed that they would have the same rear end.

Well it just didn't "feel right". I think lights on top are pretty neat. From the seat, it seemed odd. Layout was not bad, I just was not comfortable. More personal than performance. Had I not sat on one right after another, I might have thought different.
