That's a good price for the L3800, if I could get that deal I'd own one!

I dont know if the Kubota dealer wants to sell...i would think there would be some kinda discount on a carryover. How much do these dealers have to work with? Im 50 miles to each dealer and the Bobcat dealer said he would deliver.

Tractors aren't really "leftovers" in the way cars are. What most of us would call 2012 models are in demand now, because of the 2013 Tier 4 emission regulations. In short, any tractors that would be considered a 2013 model have to meet new standards that are driving up the price. Leftovers don't have to comply, so they're less expensive, and less complicated....both good things.

If you like the Bobcat, why not just buy a Kioti, and cut out the middle man? $19,500 for an L3800....ouch, I know they're well made, but I don't see how they sell that many if that's a good price. For $2k more I got something like 50% more capability.

19500 for an L3800hst.. um I wouldn't. My DK35sehst was 19300 and it is in a totally different class than the economy model L3800hst. You need to get 1500 to 2000 knocked off of that price. As for the mat, I put truck bed floor covering on my L3400hst. (same as L3800, only older model).. It looked and worked very well. As for the FEL control.. I know you said you did not like it on the L3800, and liked the Bobcat location better, but to be honest I used that control location for some time on my Kubota, and never really minded it at all. Now as for the Jerky 3pt hitch.. yeah, mine on the L3400hst was about as jerky as they come.. put an implement of some kind on and try to move the position control very slowly up. (they all move slowly down that is not a problem) does it go up smoothly or up in a series of jerks.? Overall though the L series economy (they call it standard) models are good reliable tough tractors, if lacking in some of the convenience features (telescoping lower links, telescoping stabilizers, tilt wheel, rear remote etc.) The bobcat will have all of these features and more. Most bobcat and kioti owners are very pleased with their tractors. Most Kubota owners are very pleased with their tractors too. Another up and coming brand to check out is LS. Starting to more and more of these sold. You pays your money and you decide what features you like, want and are willing to pay for. Good luck..

I would look at a kioti, but there are no dealers near me, besides Canadian dealers. Im leaning towards the bobcat...just more tractor. I want to stay with the smaller frame...going to be in the woods alot with it, and it seems when you get into the 40+ hp, the frames get longer and wider. Food plots, trails, and yard work will be the main uses.

Well if you like the features of the Bobcat, get the Bobcat, Yes it is a discontinued model, but parts will be available from Bobcat for many years, and from Kioti after that.

I went from the Bobcat CT235 to the Kubota L4240. The 4240 is a lager tractor but you don't notice it. It is only 8'' wider than the Bobcat.

If you perform a T-B-N search for "B3300SU" after opening box "SEARCH BY TITLES ONLY", you will find 52 posts with B3300SU in the title.

Probably everything you want to know about B3300SU.

I own one and have been very happy with it. I have not found it too light.

Kubota excels in the compact tractor category.
