That's a good price for the L3800, if I could get that deal I'd own one!
I dont know if the Kubota dealer wants to sell...i would think there would be some kinda discount on a carryover. How much do these dealers have to work with? Im 50 miles to each dealer and the Bobcat dealer said he would deliver.
Tractors aren't really "leftovers" in the way cars are. What most of us would call 2012 models are in demand now, because of the 2013 Tier 4 emission regulations. In short, any tractors that would be considered a 2013 model have to meet new standards that are driving up the price. Leftovers don't have to comply, so they're less expensive, and less complicated....both good things.
If you like the Bobcat, why not just buy a Kioti, and cut out the middle man? $19,500 for an L3800....ouch, I know they're well made, but I don't see how they sell that many if that's a good price. For $2k more I got something like 50% more capability.
Yea like a 401 with 2700 lbs lift
I would look at a kioti, but there are no dealers near me, besides Canadian dealers. Im leaning towards the bobcat...just more tractor. I want to stay with the smaller frame...going to be in the woods alot with it, and it seems when you get into the 40+ hp, the frames get longer and wider. Food plots, trails, and yard work will be the main uses.
The one thing i do not like about the 3800 3 pt hitch is that it does not maintain a particular distance from the ground. But i am not sure thay make a tractor that resolved this problem.
