Tractor
in process
Hey guys...new to the forum. I narrowed my new tractor purchase down to 3. Out of the 3; Bobcats specs are the best (most features, weighs most and fel lifts most). Also, they are at the lowest pricepoint. My concern is that resale and eventually service and parts are going to take a hit. I like the L3800 except for the hump on the floor, no rubber mat, and fel joystick position. On the 3300su, they got the joystick right, but the tractor is LIGHT. Part of me says go with Kubota, but it just seems value, and ergomomics arent there. FYI. 2013 Bobcat ct235 with loader and 1 remote is 17200. 2011 carryover 3300su with fel and quick tach is 17295 with cash rebates.2012 L3800 with fel is 19500. All tractors are hsd. Suggestions?

I have nothing bad to say about the L3800. It has out performed my expectations. For a few bucks you can add some rubber mats. Check out the reviews on this website. Possibly they will help you make a decision. Good Luck.

If you buy a L series put something heavy on the 3 point and check for jerky hitch before you buy.

I dont know if the Kubota dealer wants to sell...i would think there would be some kinda discount on a carryover. How much do these dealers have to work with? Im 50 miles to each dealer and the Bobcat dealer said he would deliver.

How do you feel about these dealers? Do they know the product? Do they tell you about the features on their tractor's without saying bad stuff about their competitor?

I like being straight up with dealers....i hope they return the favor. Bobcat showed me features for about 5 minutes. Kubota showed me the ones on the lot and didnt say anything about them. Kubota dealer told me not to buy a bobcat due to being discontinued. Im trying to find features and benefits via the web on the kubota....the kubota website is sketchy showing these.

The Kubota Dealer know who makes the Bobcat tractor? Its bad form to talk down your competition.
