So, down to the wire on deciding which tractor. Thought I would open for debate.

10 acres of flat pastue
1500 ft of drive
Hay handling - big bales

Both machines are HST with FEL, loaded rears

Cash quotes - both dealers very good

Mahindra $29,500
Kioti $27,500

Your thoughts and opinion on selection appreciated

Love my DK 45, it's strong and heavy and would have no problem with bales. Nice cab and lots of features. I dont know much about the Mahindra

Have you looked at the LS tractor line. Great workmanship at and incredible value.

I have looked at LS. Local dealer in mid Mo is not responsive. Dealer network in Mo is eliminating factor.

Try the advance search. Put in your info and send. New distributors are opening up.

Why not a DK 50?

No need for additional HP. 5010, while bigger and not fair to compare to DK40 in power, is the smallest cab tractor in the 40+ hp category from mahindra 3616 is too small frame wise. DK's have same frame just different motors from 40-50 hp

Well both machines seem capable of doing the job. So we need to find what features you want.

Other than the 3 pt hitch set ups not sure there is much difference. Close on specs for loader, weight, pump size, warranty etc

Only thing keeping me from liking 5010 is the pink tint in loader paint

Only thing keeping kioti from top of list is motor/cab is louder

So looking for argument for one over other

Kubota and Deere are out b/c of $

LS has no dealer network in state to speak of

Considered all other brands. Not interested
