Any thoughts or suggestions? Had this 9200 since 1990 and it's really been a great machine. I think HST will be more user friendly as Arthritis has gotten a hold of hands and wrists. Would appreciate any input you all might have. Thanks, smoker

It would a be a nice step up for you. I would go with a L3800 since it has a live PTO. Before you buy it have the dealer put something heavy on the 3PH to make sure it is smooth. Some of these tractors have a jerky hitch. The HST is way more user friendly. Are you getting a loader? If you are you should get SSQA. Get the tractor equipped like you want it.

Quite a step up. Im sure you will enjoy the convenience and refinement of the L3200. Wish your B9200 was an HST version. Id be buying if you were selling. :confused3:

Last year I went to a new L3200/HST/FEL R4's from a B7500/HST/FEL/R4's bought new in 2002. The difference was amazing. You'll love the beefier tractor. I had the dealer fill the rears and would recommend it. There were a couple places I used 4WD with the B7500 that the L3200 takes in stride in 2WD. One of my mowing patterns requires backing the tractor on a grade. With the B7500, I'd need to use 4WD or raise the RFM to get more weight on the back tires. The L3200 acts like there's no grade even if the grass is wet with dew.

Are you SURE it's worth parting with the B9200? Second tractors are REAL handy if you've got the space.

Wish I was solvent enough to just keep the 9200, however......Never thought of advertising it as it's a PITA if you know what I mean. Just for discussion it has a FEL and a 5' belly mower all in very good condition.
