I have an opportunity to buy a 2 wheel Iseki brand tractor, 17 hp, is that brand dependable? Any problems to look out for?
Will a 17hp diesel swing a 4 ft bush hog? A 4 ft tiller?

I have a TU 1700 and it is a great little tractor. It will handle a 4 ft hog and tiller fine. Take a good close look for leaks and the radiator. It will probably out last you with basic care.

Gray market tractors have their own issues just because of the lack of support, but Iseki tractors are well built. They currently make tractors for sale in North America as Massey Ferguson since the early 90's. They also made a lot of tractors for White tractors beginning in the late 70's.

I had a 1976 152 that was a great little machine (owned it from 2007-2010). In three years the only problem I had with it was the hydraulic pump went out and I replaced it. I only sold it as I wanted 4-WD and FEL.

Thank You everyone for the feedback. I feel much more comfortable to purchase the tractor I am looking at.
