There is a fair amount of wiggle room there to account for uneven wear, tire pressure differences, etc, but it shouldn't be too hard to get R4s in the correct overall diameter.

If you're thinking of getting R1 tires you can get R1W tires for the front that are wider and will handle heavy loads better but still offer the R1 traction. When my R1 tires need replacing that's what I'm planning on doing.

I was talking about factory spec R1's and R4's.

You can also get a R4 tire with a R1 tread.

All: I drove both tractors again today. I'll soon post a list of the advantages each tractor has, in my opinion, over the other. Until then, I have two questions. #1: About how much weight would filling the rear tires with antifreeze add to the tractor? #2: Does any other tractor mfr. offer an auto throttle control like that of the kubota?

On the Mahindra 4035, the rear AGs hold almost 400# of fluid each when filled to capacity.

Yes, similar, but I think that Kubota's HST+ does more than just raise the throttle level. Not sure, just my impression. I believe that JD and one or maybe even 2 of the Korean manufacturers have the throttle advance linked to the HST pedal-s. And just like Kubota, it is only on or available on some of the tractors, not all of them.

John Deere has the eHydro on some of their models: Maximize productivity with an eHydro™ transmission

As mentioned by MtnViewRanch some others may have some of the features, I just don't know.
