I have seen similar but not identical threads. My local Kubota and JD dealers are about 2 miles apart, so distance not an issue. Both are quoting almost the exact same price (within a few dollars, literally) for each unit similarly equipped:
Cab, R4s, FEL. I already have the other attachments I need.
I have driven the L6060 and the L5740; I'm going to see and drive the 4720 on Monday after work.
Realizing this has been talked around in many threads already, thoughts? 10% more HP seems significant, if real.
Thanks.

I looked at a 4720 before buying my L5740 and really liked it; between the L6060 and 4720 at the same price I would get the 4720. I love the HST+, but with the 4720 you don't have the tier IV and you get more HP, I also don't like the exposed loader controls on the 6060.

The 4720 has more power and has better hydraulic flow, but the 6060 is a little heavier. So you my have to load the tires and add some ballast to get that extra power to the ground.

Overall, the decision seems like a no-lose proposition. Both of them should be great. I love the HST+ on the Kubota. Does the 4720 have the e-hydro on it?

All 4720's are eHydro:thumbsup:
