I read an ad for a 'crawler' with front loader and backhoe from a company out of Wisconsin. (made in the USA) Seems like a useful machine. Not as fast as a tractor but more traction etc. Costs about the same as a Kubota of equal hp and attachments.

Does anyone know anything about these machines re durability and value and usefullness etc.

Thanks,
Pat

My neighbor has a Magnatrac crawler to use on his slopes. He looks a little silly on it but it works where tractors don’t. His machine has been very reliable and is thinking of getting a new one. As I recall you can get them as kits. Below is the link to their site.

I think you might be talking about the NORTRACK stuff, which is all good they are sold all over by the company NORTHERN TOOL, ( http://www.northerntool.com ) i think will get you there, those are Golden Dragon crawlers made in china and have a pretty good rep so far, they have been on the market for about two years now I think. several different companies are selling them under different names and parts re redily available. no I'm not a dealer or salemen or get any $ from them or anyone else. anyhow they can be gotten for a good price nearly as cheap as a ragged out used big name dozer.

some OTHER dealer/distriburos post here regularly in the china forum under the other heading below. for a great list of dealers and distributors ect check out "JOHNS'S web site, here

hope that helps.
