State police seek information about stolen tractor from Nicholville

New York State Police say they have information that an unsuspecting buyer in Vermont may have purchased a tractor stolen from Nicholville last month.
The 1988-1990 Kubota tractor is orange and has a loader/bucket on the front. It has no model decals on the hood of the tractor and might have been re-painted. Troopers think the tractor may have been sold and delivered to an unsuspecting buyer.
The buyer might have arranged to meet the suspect in Ellenburg Center for a transaction on Dec. 5 at the old K&L Store on U.S. Rt. 11, believing the transaction was legitimate, according to troopers.
A suspect was operating a white 2005 Nissan Titan pick-up and would have been towing a small, white utility trailer with aluminum fenders.
