Trying to get some idea what this tractor might be worth. This tractor has not run in about 8 years. Needed a carb, but decided to upgrade rather than fix. Have a potential buyer who looking to combine parts from this one with one he owns to get a working tractor. Except for carb, everything was working when it was parked. Thanks for your suggestions.

Whether they will get it is questionable, but current craigslist ad here is asking $3,800

If that's the case and it were me I'd try to get it running, unless there's more wrong than the carb. Operating vs not running could be worth +$2K additional.

yep.. complete non runners.. 500$

if it's a runner and average. it can surely be a 2000$ tractor.

as for it being a 53. some colelctors like true 53's ( even though there were less 54's than 53's ). ( find a 52 and you will have the most rare..
