Tractor
John Deere 4010, John Deere 1030, and John Deere 4430
Me and my uncle farm our 200 acre farm and rent another 200 acres. We have a JD 1030, 4010 and 4430. The 1030 is our loader tractor and moves things around the yard. The 4010 runs the augers, brings the seed tender to the drill/planter, mows ditches and other small stuff. The 4430 is the workhorse on the farm, it does everything. It pulls the 15' disc, the JD 750 drill, the Kinze 12 row, the 60' sprayer, gravity wagons and so on. But lately the 4430 has had a little trouble handling it all. So my uncle and I have decided to get another tractor. We were thinking about another 40 series tractor, with MFWD and a horsepower above 125 HP. If you have any suggestions we could use the help, but we only run JD tractors because that is all our farm has ever done.

You mean something like a 4455 or perhaps maybe even a 4850? With the 4850 you know you'll have a tractor that can tackle ANY job your farm has to offer and if you expand on renting more acreage you'll have plenty of tractor to cover it.

JD 40 series is HFWA not MFWD. You need to go to a 50 or 55 series to get MFWD
