I'm looking at a used (less than 70 hrs) B3300SU w/ LA504 FEL, RCR1260 mower, and RB1584 blade; they're asking $18,299. It would be my first CUT; I'm a very motivated purchaser and it looks immaculate from the photos he's sent. Any thoughts on the price?

That price seems high for used. A new B2650 with fel and 60" bucket is around $18000

Looking at a B3350 (the replacement?) with those implements, new seems to be around $24K +-. If this one has any other goodies, like remotes, SSQA, cruise, and was given its first service, and you like it, I'd say what the heck, go for it. At 70 hours, it is "new". If you could buy it for a bit less, even better. No tier 4 stuff, and a nice tractor.

3350 is tier 4 and uses dpf.

Around here that would not be a screaming deal but not horrible either.
I can tell you from experience that is a great tractor that punches above its "weight."

I purchased a B3300SU new. Sold it after 400 engine hours in favor of slightly larger, much heavier, L3560.

The very large wheels, largest on the B series, made it tippy moving heavy loads on the FEL.

The four cylinder engine has a high octave whine, reduced somewhat when I changed to Super UDT2 hydraulic fluid. You will operate this tractor with ear muffs.

The current owner, pastor of the First Baptist Church, mows church grounds with it and loves it.

Yah, just looking at the second photo indicates that! Easy fix: a set of Kubota, or aftermarket, wheel spacers. Ta da. Every little bit helps. Of course, keep the load low, as well.

Thanks for the replies and information. I had been looking into a B2650 when I saw the used B3300SU on craigslist and that had diverted my attention. The price of the used B3300SU, the fact that it's used (there's no such thing as a little bit pregnant; used is used), and beckmurph's suggestion has me back to considering the B2650. The extra hp of the B3300SU doesn't translate into significantly more power: if I'm reading the spec's right the B2650 has more hydraulics lift capacity, loader lift height and loader lift capacity; the B3300SU has a slight advantage in loader breakout force. (I thought bigger was supposed to be better?? Wait, don't forget about David and the giant.)

Am I missing something?

Call me selfish, but, I want to be the one putting the very first dent in the bucket or a fender on my very first tractor.

Thanks again.
