Kubota B-2650
I have a Kubota B7800. This size of the B -series works for me.

What I would like to know is if Kubota made a B-series tractor
with upgraded features and more lift capacity, front and back?

Also, I would like to stay with a Tier 2 machine. Not sure when
the B-series changed to Tier 3 and 4??

When I want to see the differences - ESPECIALLY with the B series Kubotas I look on tractordata.com. Maybe there's some logic to the size or HP in relation to the model numbers that I missed on the older tractors. At least in recent years, many models have the HP as part of the model number.

The next size up B models were the 3200/3300 and now the 2650/3350.

For a new machine, the 2650 is what you'd want if you want to avoid emissions. Anything 26HP and below can meet Tier 4 Final without the new emissions controls.

Prior models were Tier 4 Interim and also met standards without the new controls. None of these tractors would have been Tier 3, as that was for high HP machines (75HP and up if I remember right). Tier 2 was prior to 2007, so you're not going to find anything new that's Tier 2.

Looking at the B2630 and the B3030.
Looking at the specs, both models have the same lift capacities front and back, and
the same break out force. What will I be missing on the 2630?

OK, yeah those were older "deluxe" B models, predating the 2650/3350. Very good machines.

Any feed back on going with the 2630 at the lower hp?

You know what, look in some of the more recent 2650/3350 threads, where this exact thing has been discussed. For my purposes 26hp would be ok most of the time, except for running certain things on the PTO. If you need more PTO power, then go up.

I'm getting differing information when I read various threads.

Can anyone tell me if the B2630 has greater lift capacity (both front and rear pto) that the B7800?

And, does the the B3030 have greater lift capacity than the B2630?

Are there any additional features found on the B3030 that are not on the B2630?

What are the differences between the la402 and la403 loaders?

This will be very helpful-thanks!

tractordata.com has most of the answers if you dig a little.

Here's some scans from an old brochure I have - approx 2007. Maybe they will help.
