We have a DK55 with only 25hrs on it so far and are still happy with the purchase. I have not used the 5030, but the kubotas I have used are good machines and are worth the money. The DK55 a bit thirsty and I do not know how the 5030 is on fuel. I believe that the DK55 is very cost effective on features, size, weight (with filled tires) and ergonomics. One extra mention of ergonomics and this is inclusive of mahindras, the Kioti is a comfortable tractor for taller (6' and taller riders), this was one of the major reasons for not purchasing the Mahindra which was under consideration.
