Watch out for any great deals for tractors on ebay. I followed up on 2 listings for Kubotas and got the following replies from aileh33@yahoo.com and steelcarp@msn.com. (probably one and same). The deal is: the tractors are abroad England and Italy, shipping is free--he's got an insider in some shipping company. He mentions ebay credentials and only asks for your name and address. BEWARE!!!!

There are hundreds of these type scams on eBay.

When the listing number is posted here, they're usually pulled within an hour or two. Multiple people report it I guess /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I used to report them. A year ago ebay would act pretty quickly. Nowadays it takes them days before they move on a bogus site.

I've found these rip-offs always have the same things in common.

-Hysterically low price.

-Preapproved bidders only.

-They ask you not to e-mail through the ebay system ID, instead they provide a secondary address.. usually a yahoo mail, g-mail or equally anonymous account.

I just pass them by.
