Something is goofy here. On a 95 degree day I can fog the glass in my 5030 no problem with the A/C. If someone is telling you that the A/C in the Kubota 5030 will not cool the cab, I would not do business with with that person.

Re: John Deere 4720 cab vs Kubota GL5030 cab
I am looking at a 4520 and a 4720 and I also live close to Macon. I was wondering how you like the JD. Had any problems with it? Which dealer did you use? Mid Ga tractor and Blanchard Equip are the dealers I have used in the past. I am definately looking for a cab model.

Re: John Deere 4720 cab vs Kubota GL5030 cab
The cab that Kubota had some issues with for cooling was actually the first edition on the early 3600 and 4200 series. They were or should have been updated by the dealer to deal with it. They installed better fans to help with the circulation in those models and after that the next newer models starting with the 10 series have not had issues.
Kubota had cabs for a number of years on compacts before the other manufacturers copied them.

Re: John Deere 4720 cab vs Kubota GL5030 cab
I have owned two Kubota cabs in the past 5 years. I had a L3430hstc and it would freeze you out in the hotest summer days. I now have a L3240hstc and it's just as good as the 30 series.
I have mowed grass at 100 deg temps with zero problems with the a/c unit being large enough to keep me nice and cool.
I have no experience with the deere a/c units and their ability to cool.
Hope this helps,
Mark L3240hstc 724 loader
