Tractor
John Deere 5103 w/ 512 LDR
I swung by my local Kubota dealer and asked if he had any end of the year deals on anything in stock. He quoted me $21,900 for an MX5000DT 4WD LA852 FEL w/ SSQA. This seems like a fair to great price and it's gotten me to thinking:

1) The JD5105 looks comparable. What would a similarly equipped 5105 cost me?
2) What are comparable models from other companies that I should look at? I have Mahindra, NH, MF, Montana, Farmtrac, and Kioti dealers within range. Also, what would they cost?
3) What's everyone's opinion on the "best" tractor with the following specs:
-50+/- hp
-44+/- pto
-4WD
-Detachable FEL
-Standard tranny
4) What is the best "value" with the above specs?

Hope this isn't too much for one subject. Thanks in advance.

My opinion.....
I would not over look the not so well known name brands ie... KIOTI,MAHINDRA,BRANSON,MONTANA,etc
A dealer is what is going to really make a good or bad tractor.
Good luck with your purchase and your new tractor.
