Hi Everyone. I am new to this site. I have been reading it for about two weeks, or so and i found it very informative. I just purchased a tractor after looking for years. I have looked at green, blue, orange and the other orange.
I went to visit a friend in PA, Scranton area, and on a lark went to the other orange dealer and saw a dk35se. It immediately felt right. I loved the size, the very comfortable seat and the space. Everything was just perfectly placed. It has a 351 loader and a 2485 backhoe. I am getting it this weekend. After many years of waiting and dreaming, i just went and did it. I did it almost on a lark. I really liked the dealer, he spent a long time with me and explained everything, even though he knew i was not a local resident. I was looking for something in the 20 hp range. He only showed me the larger tractor when i specificed that i didn't like the rocker foot pedal, i liked the unit's with a seperate forward and reverse, side by side. He then, and only then, showed me the dk35se hydro. I never thought i would spend so much money on something that i really don't need. But, boy, am i excited. (all my friends also) I guess there is something about a salesperson knowing his product, sharing information with enthusiam and just being courteous. It sold me.
