Rick...
You're absolutely right... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif The database is "slightly off"... /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif In fact, Case purchased bankrupt IH in 1984...

I think the other "data" may be for IH "384" and the db needs to be corrected. (see what happens when you "cut & paste" quick.../w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif)

Thank you Rick.../w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Howdy Pannell-

I recently bought an '87 385 (see attached picture). I bought an I&T service manual from amazon.com and a (repro) owners manual at ytmag.com.

I haven't yet done anything with the tractor but am getting stocked up on a complete set of filters and lube so that I can give it an all over servicing before putting it to work.

I did quite a lot of searching the net to see what I could find on 385 and found...not much.

There seems to be a much bigger interest in small tractors built by fine craftsmen (ie, prisoners) in communist China (inside joke).

If you buy the 385, let me know. We'll start a CTOA (CASE Tractor Owners Association) of our own.

Best,

Mark
