G'day everyone.
I've just replaced my faulty fuel sender on my 1993 Case IH 595 4x4, with a new genuine sender assembly.
The issue is, that the OEM sender had only one cable going to it, and was made of steel, so it would have earthed out through the body.
The replacement unit is plastic body, and has three pins, and no wiring diagram.
Problem is, how do I wire this up as I don't want to fry this and waste $130.
The cable from the gauge is Green with Black strip. I surmise I now need to create a power line, earth, and attach the original line to the sender but on which pins.
The cover cap doesn't fit now either. Bloody frustrating when you purchase from the factory, and nothing fits!
Photo 1 is of the old sender, 2 is the new fitted but not wired.
Any advice on which pin for power, earth and gauge would be really appreciated.

Best wishes all.

Ken.

I sorted it.
Center pin to the gauge, top pin (with out the plastic shroud) to earth.
Wish the parts they supply would come with instructions if they don't mirror the part it replaced.

Best wishes everyone.

Hello from Australia.
There doesn't seem to be a Portuguese website for Case IH.
I have found a link to the Spanish site which may be the closest on line supplier and you need to do a Google search for a local supplier. Home
Here is the World link: Case IH
I have a dealership 60kms up the road, but they make mistakes with parts ordered as well!
Hope this is of help.

Quote: Another question?
do you have the case 595 operator manual?
can you make a copy and send to me?
i lose mine, and in Portugal i cant find anywere, only from Uk, but they want arround 70」 for the book.

i send you the money if you send me a copy of the book, in paper or in pdf. Unquote

No worries.
I'll photocopy the manual for you and post it to you in Portugal.
It should be done in a few days, so I'll contact you and you can send me a postal address.
My pleasure, and I'll pay the postage.

Best wishes from Australia.
