480E LL Construction King: I rebuilt the shuttle unit 2 yrs ago when teh Bellville spring disintegrated. Did a total rebuild with clutches and the works. Its been working great since until this spring. Its developed a jerk or lurch as it comes to a stop now. At idle the tractors movement should come to a smooth ceasation but it jerks or lurches a couple of times before stopping. It doesn't do it everytime but enough to be annoying and clearing indicating a problem. Can anyone suggest what would be causing this? I'll be checking the hydraulic port pressures this weekend but I don't think I'll find any problem there. Help!

Kinda reads like a valve sticking.... I'm no expert but all functions
are run by fluid pressure and unfortunately all the troubleshooting tests in my Case 580D manual are based on the pressure port tests...

You might try posting this on HeavyEquipmentforums.com/ in the
tractor/backhoe section. There are 2-3 Case field techs with experience that
could probably tell you whats what. I understand the trans in the landscapers are
pretty much the same as the Backhoes.
