Help with Super C
I have been asking questions in different forums, ie...vintage tractors and mcormick, with little luck.
I am restoring a 1951 Super C and wanted to know if there is/was any type of bearing inside of the fan hub. When I dismantled it, there seems to have been some remnants of metal or hardened material. Some one had said leather was once used.
Are there any aftermarket seals that can be put in, or can I use some type of leather again? I really don't want to have to buy a new hub assembly if at all possible.
Thanks
Joe

I don't really have an answer for you,but if you try Red Power Magazine Community (Powered by Invision Power Board) I'm sure someone there will know the answer.
