Case backhoe boom won't stay up
I have a Case 530 loader backhoe. The loader cylinders hemorrhage when the tractor is running. I can raise the loader and turn the tractor off and it doesn't leak down. It will stay up. The backhoe has some leaks too but if I raise the boom it will immediately start dropping back down. I have zero experience on troubleshooting hydraulics. Anyone have a "most likely" guess what is happening? Thanks!

Re: Case backhoe boom won't stay up
The load check valves in your FEL control valve are bypassing/worn/cocked in the seats or nonexistant...
Some FEL controls do not have "Load Checks" and this would require replacing the control valve with load checks built-in......if the problem just started then you have debris under one of those check valves and it's not seating.....
Hope this helps....2010 Kubota B2320 FEL & BH65
If it ain't fixed don't broke it!
