Hi All,
Wondering if someone might be able to help,
We've just got in a Case JX80U, it's exhibiting a strange fault, where by when the range gear is selected to 1 (creep), pick any gear on the stick, and you put the power shuttle in either forward or Reverse. You can then take your foot off the clutch and the tractor will move forward (or back) but only about an inch, the power shuttle then jumps out of gear and the tractor stops!
You can put the power shuttle back in forward / rev and the same thing happens.

All other functions, gears, Hi/Low speed work fine.
As the tractor actually moves in the creep gear, and you can with repeated power shuttle move it a fair way, so we are thinking it's not something mechanical, theres also no crunching, jamming noises, the range gear also slips in easily. so we're defiantly thinking mechanical is out of the picture.

We're thinking it's probably a sensor, or electrical fault which is what is triggering the power shuttle to disengage, but we haven't spent much time fault finding on Case's (not a common tractor round our way) so any help some one who know's these tractors can provide would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Andrew
