Valve Lash
I have a 1986 255 Compact Case International Tractor with a 25 hp Mitshubishi K3E diesel engine. I replaced the head gasket and now I need to know what the valve lash should be set at on the exhaust and intake valves, the case tractor dealers that I have called do not have this information or are unwilling to look it up. Could you please give me this information. Thank you.

Re: Valve Lash
If you are asking what to set the valves at, I have the same tractor and have all the books and a repair disk. Set both valves while cold to .25 metric or 0.010 in American. If I can be of any more help let me know.

Re: Valve Lash
You might as well know IF you have problems with that tractor, parts are hard to find and expensive. The head gasket alone is over $100.00. I know because I just bought two. Don't ask, I fd up.
