Case DX 33

The tach on my case DX33 is inop where the heck is the tach cable

There is no cable on that tractor. It's an electronic tach. Are all of your other gauges working ok?

It seems to be intermittent so i need to know where the sensor is

So you think that indicates its on the left side of the block?

It goes to the alternator actually. That's how most of them work is off of a pickup in the alternator
