You\'ve got RED company!!!
Well, the rumors have come true it seems... Case IH now has a line of compact tractors based on the NH boomers. I heard the rumor that there would be a line of red boomers as early as 1998... these photos were taken at the American Farm Bureau Federation's 82nd Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida, January 7-10, 2001...

I heard the model line would be the DX series, or something like that. I don't have any details other than the two photos above... as you can see, they look exactly like NH boomers, only red...
Assumiong they are on display, I'll get all the information possible at the NY Farm Show later this month, along with a lot of photos of the tractors.
Considering that the models may just be red boomers, and that it is Case IH that we're talking about (the other half of the largest tractor company in the world, Case-New Holland) I think there may now be the 'big 4' ... not just the 'big 3' manufacturers. Maybe something like what Mercury is to Ford, or something.
As soon as info becomes available, we'll add a Case IH category to the discussions...

I get it ... New Holland, painted red.
I must say, I really like the red color. Guess there will be a big run on RED PAINT so all you blue-boys can repaint to match the latest and greatest!

BobT,
I'd rather have Tried and True as the Latest and greatest! They do look kinda sharp though!

Re: You\'ve got RED company!!!
Don't see a TC18 or TC21 equivalent...hmmm!
One of the pics showed a fuel tank behind the seat like a cub cadet, mine is under the hood on the TC18, do ANY boomers have them behind the seat?
Thanks for the info Muhammad, JimBinMI

Re: You\'ve got RED company!!!
Yeah, we'll add the topic soon. I'm thinking about merging the buying and pricing forums for each brand to save space and loading, since we'll be adding another category...

Re: You\'ve got RED company!!!
You need another forum just because someone painted some of those blue tractors red? Like JimBinMI says, the biggest company going; they just can't decide on one color like Kubota and John deere have done. It may get to be interesting though, since my Kubota dealer is also a Case International dealer and next door to a New Holland dealer.

As far as I know:
You won't see SuperSteer on a D/DX.
You won't see a CaseIH dealer with any D/DX within 20 mi of a NH dealer.
You won't see the equivalent of the Class I TC (18,21) in red.
