Price Check on a Case IH 235
Looking for a nice compact Tractor for my 5 acres. Came accross ad in a local paper and was wanting to get some opinions. Case IH235 diesel, hydro trans, 4WD, FEL, live PTO , 3 point, ROPS, excellent condition with 251 hrs. $6200. The ad also has Rear weight 450lbs for $150 and a 4ft box scraper for $275.
Comments and/or thoughts welcome

I'm not familiar with the tractor, but my Blue Book says it is 15.2 PTO hp and weighs about 1345# w/o the loader. Made from ~'86-'90. Average retail varies by year in the $4500-$5400 range for the 4WD hydro version (w/o loader, I assume). It says it's made by Mitsubishi.

I have the the 244(20 hp) which is the slightly bigger and slightly older version. These are pretty good tractors. They do have a mitsubishi motor as mentioned above.
I would think with the low hours and the loader the price would be 5000. The 235 sold for around 11,000 brand new.
