I have a 646 that I took a bad Onan out of and am fitting in a 16 horse Kolher. I never thought of a diesel. Are these the same tractor with different horse powers.

Tom, I am in RI. How much you asking for the Kolher engine? How many hours are on it? you can PM me the price. If the price is in my budget then I can come pick it up off you so there will be no shipping BS

Tom, What are you asking for the engine? Does it have good power? I'm thinking of repowering my case 644 14hp kohler. It's tired.
Thank You,
Porace

What part of the word SOLD did you not understand? You are responding to a thread that was over and done with TWO YEARS ago.

If your Kohler K-321 is tired, then pull out out and rebuild it. That's the easiest and cheapest way to bring your 600 back to life. It also preserves the value of your tractor should you ever decide to sell it. Rebuild kits can be found on e-Bay and any local machine shop can bore the cylinder, turn the crank throw, install new valve guides, deck the block, resurface the head and grind the valve seats.
