Just picked up this 446 and wondering how to tell the year. I need this info so I can find the correct manual. Thanks.

If you go to CaseColtIngersoll Lawn and Garden Tractor Forum, you will find a chart in their FAQ's section that will tell you the year of your tractor by the model and serial number.

You may also find a copy of the Parts Manual and Op manual that are correct for the serial and model number of your tractor.
