Case Operator's Manual
I'm doing some preemptive cleaning in my parent's basement while preparing to do some repairs for them. While cleaning off a shelf I found an operator's manual from the old Case tractor we had years ago (actually still have it parked in the weeds).
Manual says it's for the 220, 222, 442 & 444 tractors and is for serials 9646801 & later. Considering it's been in their basement for who knows how many years it's in decent shape. Which brings me to the questions:
Is it worth attempting to sell? Only place I ever encounter people who've even heard of these tractors is right here. Or should I just put it in the recycling pile?
Kind of hate to get rid of it since I have fond memories of that tractor as a kid, was a **** good little machine when it ran.I like to play in the dirt....

Re: Case Operator's Manual
Just a thought. If you ever decide to sell or part out the tractor, having the original manual would be a plus. Maybe by keeping the manual and recalling the fond memories would bring you more joy and happiness than a few dollars. There's also EBAY. It's your decision. Just some ideas that you can contemplate in aiding you to reach your decision. Happy Tractoring.

Re: Case Operator's Manual
If somebody from TBN were close by and wanted to come get it the old 442, I'd give it to them.

Re: Case Operator's Manual
Brand new Op Manuals can be bought from any Ingersoll dealer for around nine bucks per copy.
Should you toss that one in the recycling bin??? No... I don't think so.
If you want to sell it, I'll give you five bucks for it and pay the postage to have it sent to me. If you have Paypal, that would simplify matters.
As for the tractor, send me an e-mail to tell me where you are. Perhaps I can find you a buyer for it as a parts tractor or possible restoration project. Leaving it to die a slow death in the weeds is no way to repay that tractor for all the fine service it gave your family.

I'm in need of a manual for that serial number. Do you still have it?
