74' Case 446
Is there anyone out there who has had any dealings with the 74' Case 446 engine shrouds. I'm trying to change the intake gaskets and replace the carb and it would appear I have to take apart the the whole back end of the tractor to get the engine shrouds off, am I missing something here?? From what I see I have to disconnect the lovejoy and all the mounting behind the dash and unhook just about every piece of pipe and electrical just to do this. It's all one piece except around the mufflers and even part of that is riveted which don't come off. I'm so frustrated that something would be designed this way. If anyone can help I would be forever in your debt.

Hmmm No Response to this?

I'd like to replace my points and condenser,
but I can't seem to get at the bottom of the
Points/Condenser box because it's beneath
the engine shroud, which there doesn't seem
to be any way to remove???

Plus there a hard hydraulic pipe going across
the back of the motor, and another hydraulic
hose that are in the way!!!

What to do???

Thanks, Jim
