I have a Century C47 tractor and I have a question about the rear hydraulics and would appreciate any/all assistance or guidance that others may be able to provide.
I recently purchased a Befco 3 point hookup sickle bar mower. It has a hydraulic lift, which is really nice. However, once I set the bar to the desired height, it almost immediately starts to sag, and I need to keep readjusting the height while I'm mowing. I have checked the hydraulic fluid level on the tractor itself, all connections are tight and the cylinder is not leaking, but I'm still having this problem. Another farmer told me that the problem may lie in the tractor hydraulics.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you correct it?
