Just bought this 2005 3510 with the below style quick attach. It does the job, but all my other attachments are skid steer style. Can I replace this style with a skid steer style then weld a new skid steer plate on my old bucket?
Never seen that type of QA before. Yes to all your questions. Do a search for ATI attachments. If they don't make a new carrier for your Bota you will have to see the dealer. I know they have them. Not sure what they charge but the JD dealer sells skid steer QAs for about $500 and you should be able to pick up a skid steer plate for about $100. Find someone that knows something about welding and your back in buisness.
All looks very doable, I put SSQA on my L3400HST this summer. It just had pin on, I bought the Kubota adapter for about $400, and the plate I bought off of e-bay for $124 including shipping. The UPS guy grunted some. I welded it up myself. I had quite a bit of trouble cutting off the existing ears on the original bucket, but yours look a lot easier.
I have been looking at some places on ebay.
They are in Lamar MO. I don't what style quick attach this would be called.
It hooks under the hook and sits against the bucket then the bar pin slides into the loader arms. Not a bad design, It is strong just not universal as the SS style.

Thats the same one my neighbor has on his 4720i ... he hates it. The pins that go in the bottom when you push the lever always are a sun of a gun to get right.
He keeps talking about taking it off and getting the SSQA ... your right you can take it off and replace it ... weld the QA to your bucket.
You don't have to buy the plate ... you can make that yourself.
The picture is fuzzy, but if that is stock Branson then it is likely a euro style quick connect. The euro style is/was standard on Branson loaders. You might check with a Branson dealer about the conversion, they may have done one before.
It looks like a home made Euro Hitch, Euro Hitch is similar, but the bottom eyes are offset inward. Euro hitch is the standard in the rest of the world (with the exception of JD who just like to be different!) however that said almost every loader manufacturer has come up with their own design at some point!
The attachment is a European style that comes standard from Branson Tractors on the A series loader however there is a different QA head available thru your dealer that will let you change over to skid steer type
Thanks All. After looking on some websites I thought it might be called the Euro design. It works well, I have not had a problem withe pins sliding into the loader. The P.0. Did grease everything well.
I have thought of calling a dealer and looking into maybe some type of swap. I have seen newer Branson tractors with the SS style hookup.
If I could trade out my bucket and Euro style for new or even used SS style plus a few bills would be well worth it.
What brings this on is I need pallet forks, but always see SS style around everywhere.
I thought of building my own set to fit this Euro style but would be much better off in future if I could use other attachments.
