I just got a set of replacement plugs.
I had suspected bad glow plugs on my 2005 Century C42 about 8 years ago.
I removed them, checked them with a meter and while I don't recall the measured resistance I remember that they were reasonably close to each other.
Before reassembly I cleaned everything up, including some paint on the buss bar that takes power to them.
All was well after that, however this winter the tractor was very difficult to start if I didn't run the block heater for an hour or two.

Last week (sunny break) I pulled the plugs again, three were open circuit the fourth measured 38 ohms.
Markings A36J 11V.

Various cross references pointed to Cummins 4900224, but searches for those led to prices all over $40, my Branson/Century dealer had already quoted me $43.xx.

Eventually found "over the hill tractors" on flea bay and ordered a 4 plug set for $79.99 plus $4 shipping.
They arrived today, each one measures about 1.1 Ohm, so the set is going to draw something close to 50 amps, OK.

The manufacturer (or at least the "packager") seems to be Sparex.
The boxes indicate that their pat # is S.69256 and they fit Branson:
2910 2910l 3510 3510H 3510l 3820 4020 4020l 4020R 4220 4520C 4720H 4720l 4720R 5220l 5220R 5520C 5530R (hopefully no typos and those are lower case letter "l")
replaces HK15170000A4

Minor detail differences in the appearance is that the neck just above the threads has a bevel, which doesn't matter since the original plugs don't screw in that far. Also there is a slightly longer terminal screw on the replacement plugs, maybe 4 mm longer (or a little over 1/8 inch).

Waiting for the FREEZING rain to stop...
