HI;I am having problems trying to start my redmax g3100t chainsaw.I was told its probably the carburator diaphram... anyway does the whole plastic housing have to come off to get to the carburator? thanks
I wasnt familiar with that model either g3100t . Looked it up and its a little top handle.
Get yourself a IPL and or Service manual. All you need to do it yourself the first time.
This owners manual has a IPL of the saw broke down starting on page 22. http://www.redmax.com/ddoc/RMXO/RMXO2007_USen/RMXO2007_USen_G3100T_.pdf
Appears the carb is in the front of saw and apears easy to work on just looking at IPL.
Another IPL without all the info at beginning http://www.redmax.com/ddoc/RMXI/RMXI2008_USen/RMXI2008_USen_G3100T_SN0723010001 and up.pdf
