Didn't intend to have a Deere fleet - it just happened 310C, F915,102, 5200 & 5065E
I've a new Husqvarna 445. If the decompression button is pushed in, it's impossible to start. Left out, a 1/2 dozen primer bulb cycles & the choke, and it starts.

Is this normal? Or is this a problem that Husqvarna should fix?

Husky's from cold should start in 2-3 pulls at most after 1 maybe 2 pushes on the primer choke - get the dealer to fix yours under warranty

It is common for some saws to not start with the decomp pushed in. As your saw brakes in (ring seats, builds more comp) it'll likely start starting with the decomp. But as small as the saw is I just would not use the decomp button...

I have a 455. I noticed the power increased after 25+ hours - break-in period I guess. From day one have had no problems starting. In our cold weather I decomp, prime maybe 2-3 times, full choke and it starts within 1-3 pulls. I like the decomp. I would take it back and have the dealer check it.

Good saw overall...
