Is there another screen in the system before the filte? how does one bleed the system?
Yes, several in fact. One inside the tank, another at the top of the sediment bowl. The typically there's at least one inline screen on a banjo fitting. Not all are the same, so - assuming you've inspected/cleaned the tank and bowl screens already -you'll have to pull both low pressure lines (the rubber ones) and visually inspect the fittings. One carries fuel from the sediment bowl to the fuel filter, another from the fuel filter to the injection pump. Any of those four fittings could have a screen.

Once we're sure your fuel path is unimpeded, we can work on priming/bleeding if necessary.

All of the fuel screens have been checked and cleaned or replaced. Next step, bleed the fuel system; instructions on this procedure please?

Sure. Again, make sure the fuel filter is full. Then locate the flexible hose between the filter and the injection pump (IP). Loosen the banjo bolt slightly at the IP end. Then use the hand primer until raw fuel runs out. That gets all the air out of the low pressure side. Secure the hand primer. Since it's only for the low pressure side, you shouldn't need it any more. The starter motor is used to bleed the high pressure side.

For that, start by locating the hardlines. They're the 3 steel lines between the IP and the 3 fuel injectors. Follow them to the top, and identify the hex collars that connect them with the injectors. Get an open end wrench and loosen all 3 hex collars no more than 1 turn. Tranny in neutral, brake set, compression release open; crank engine. Bubbles will appear at the hex collars. When you see the bubbles turn to raw fuel, tighten the associated collar. If you're still cranking, sometimes the engine will start just on that one cylinder. If it starts to run - even roughly - stop cranking. If not, repeat as required on the remaining two hex collars. Your tractor should be running by now.

To be sure I removed the sediment bowl and the screen and opened the fuel line petcock. The fuel drips from the tank. Is this normal or should the fuel run out in a steady stream?

There's one more screen. That fitting that was left under the tank when you removed the sediment bowl? Remove that too. The screen will come with it.

You must un thread the fuel bowl from the fuel tank to get to the screen on the inside. You must first empty the fuel tank to do so. Once clean fuel should flow in a steady stream.
