Re: Need a support arm for Jinma 254 FEL
DITTO on the insurance! That's what it's for. I have friends that refuse to make insurance claims because they are afraid it will raise their rates or ding their history. I dont understand that myself......why have anything but liability if you arent going to ever use it?

Insurance says they don't cover the trailer(unless listed on the policy) or anything that is on the trailer. I have a A-1 welder going to try to fix the one bent arm. Tractor and backhoe are working. Bent bucket is repaired. Might have to replace one or two cylinders on the loader.

Re: Need a support arm for Jinma 254 FEL
If you asked your car insurance company, you may have inquired of the wrong folks. My trailer - and whatever it's hauling - is covered under my farmowner/homeowner policy. Good place to buy inexpensive replacement cylinders is Baileys Surplus Center. Needed a pair of curl cylinders for one of my loaders a few years back. OE replacements were a ridiculous $395 each. Got an equivalent pair from Bailey for under $200 delivered

Greg,
Thanks for the link. I will check them out and see if I can get replacements.
I want to thank everybody for their help. It's nice to get help especially during a bad time.
Re: Need a support arm for Jinma 254 FEL
Shirtman I too would re-inquire as Greg said my insurance covers anything attached to the car/truck when towing on a trailer including the trailer. It is typical insurance with higher coverage than normal.

The loader arm has been repaired and should have the new cylinders & hoses on soon. She looks a little beat up but considering what she went through it's not to bad. Thanks to my local and forum help we have got the tractor back working again. The trailer is heading to the repair shop and it's sounds like it to will be back operational in the near future. Nobody was hurt and the equipment has some dents but not anywhere near as bad as we had earlier feared.

That dont look too bad, (bout like my back on early rainy mornings) lol
hope the cylinders arrive & you get them back going. Did ya get a good inspection on all the other parts? Bell housing and clutch area & front end mount area & roll bar mount area on rear axle would be areas of real concern.
