Jinma 184 Parts interchange help needed.

Basics: 2005 Jinma 184 yt290 2 cylinder engine, 384 hours. 48 in. Brush hog.
While mowing on Monday, the radiator fan assembly blew up with great force.
Started taking the tractor apart Monday, ( trip to the ER to get stitches where I raised up under the fel, and split head open).
Finally got tractor apart, Tuesday, radiator is a total wipe. So ordered a new one, along with fan assembly and new radiator cap. Now I am having difficulties with the hoses, thermostat, gasket, fan belt. Have found them but an both sites I tried to order them, neither would accept any of my 5 credit cards. Even though I could order from Affordable Tractor with not problems, they just did not seem to have other parts.

Many years ago there was a list of interchange parts, for the hoses, filters, belts, thermostat, from Napa or Autozone. There was also an admonition to not use the Chinese hoses after I replaced the antifreeze as the hoses were not compatible with antifreeze used in the US (and looking at the condition of the hoses I can see why, yes I have changed antifreeze regularly).

Does anyone have these parts interchanges.

I don't have direct parts interchange numbers for you, but I'll offer this advice:

The radiator hoses are not going to cross over to anything domestic. You just take the old ones to the parts store and look through what they have until you find ones that can be cut to yield the configuration you need. This is what everyone else does.

Ditto for the filters - take the old ones and match them. Be sure to get the proper threads.

You'll have to buy gasket material and cut your own gasket if you can't find one from a Chinese Tractor dealer. No US parts will cross over on that gasket.

The thermostat is or should be a 180 or 185 degree F thermostat. If the diameter and seating surface matches and the temp is right, it will work. I've seen cross-over numbers for the 3-cyl engines, but not for the TY290.

I recommend you replace the fan belt with one of the new link-type belts. These things make it easy to replace a belt or adjust the length without having to remove the fan or alternator, and outlast regular belts about 3 to 1. They also run far smoother and transfer power better. I now use them for all my belt-drive power transmission needs and won't ever go back to regular belts. I get mine from Harbor Freight as theirs are made by the same company that sells them retail elsewhere.
