The rear brakes on my 2007 Field Pro (Dongfeng) DF254G2 tractor have been progressively less effective over the last few months. The internals of the left-hand brake assembly looks normal; at most the disc brake lining may be a bit glazed. The right hand brake has problems. A leaking oil seal is probably at fault. The interior of the assembly, including disc, is covered in hydraulic oil.
Does anyone know the procedure for inspecting and replacing the seal? I have a service manual, but it covers only preventive maintenance, not repair procedures. I'm hoping I do not need to remove the ROPS.
Thanks for considering my request.
