Default Nortrac NT254 (Jinma) FEL (Amerequip) quick attach conversion??

Hello, My name is Harold and I am new here. I recenty purchased a 2004 NorTrac NT254 with a NT700 FEL. I believe the tractor to be manufactured by Jinma, however I cannot find much info on the FEL. I am looking to make it quick attach as my neighbor and I will be sharing attachments. Does anyone have any info on this FEL and where I could find a quick attach conversion? I believe it was manufactured by Amerequip. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There are plenty of places that sell "quick attach conversion" it doesn't have to be brand specific. If you have a local welder, he should be able to make one. Home made ones have been on TBN before.

This is just one, you'll have to check with them to see if they have one that fits your tractor:

    Adaptor Plate

Definitely don't need a welder...I can handle that myself.

Could you point me in the direction of the post with the fabricated ones?

Your link doesn't seem to be working in my app.

I see lots of brand specific conversions...I thought there may be one for my loader.

    Sure,

As for other links... this one has a link to one that was changed out from pin to QA and also has a link to an aftermarket ones.

I think this is a "kit":
    http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/a...-kit-need.html

    Or by the parts yourself:
Weld-On Skid Steer, Skidsteer Universal Skid Steer Quick Attach Plate

there are others that sell the "male" half too.

    http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/k...ck-attach.html

    Plenty more like these...

Some friendly advise, It's just a fact that this Chinese Tractor forum doesn't get much "traffic" and your question is narrowed down to a specific model, which I normally would have skipped over since I really don't know even what your tractor looks like. If you ask about this in the "attachment forum" and ask How to convert your bucket... you get TONS of links to other projects. Add photos of your bucket and loader, too. People will look at your thread just because you posted a photo!!

Much appreciated teg. A moderator put my post in the Other Brands forum originally and it didn't get much traffic. I saw a fair amount of people discussing the Jinma tractor in this forum, so I thought I would give it a try.

Thanks again for your help. None of my searches have turned up what I was looking for. Do you have any advice for narrowing a search?

Yea, don't use the search on TBN, it known to suck... Use Google...

Also, some times it's just Timing, "bump it" every week or so... that is, reply to your own thread like, Anyone??? This might catch the right person's eye that knows the answer.

Hey Harold, you didn't say what kind/type of attachments you'd be sharing. Are they skid steer QA or something else? They do make pin-on QA also.
Peruse this selection. Don't be lazy, get out your measuring stick. One of these will fit.

Yuchai 306R dozer, Mustang 2040 skid steer, Mitsubishi MS035 Mini-Ex with four buckets and a rake, Trimble machine control GCR-2SM laser receivers, 68" Titan flail mower.

Sorry Bob Rooks...yes they will be SSQA. My bad...I'm still a newbie. Not being lazy either...my tractor is in Maine and I am currently at work in Mexico. Just doing some research while I have some down time.

Those worksaver ones are exactly what I was looking for, just wasn't sure what model would fit my loader (Amerequip). I didn't see any prices either?

After using the links teg provided, I found the items below that will work for me, I believe.

Skid Steer Quick Tach Conversion Adapter Latch Box Weld On QTK

5/16" Quick Tach Loader Cut Out Universal Mount Plate skid steer bobcat kubota

By signing up for their news feed I can get 5% off. They also offer free shipping. I didn't think that was a bad deal. Has anyone found these items cheaper? Perhaps a different manufacturer?

I read the articles and some members have fabbed up their own QA pieces, but for less than $300 I thought these weren't bad.

    What are your thoughts?

I have some Titan attachments and I find them to be of very good quality and fit. They also had the best prices for what my requirements were. Their customer service and delivery times were outstanding.
