Hi,

I am looking for anybody who is in Nova Scotia, Canada. I would like to get a tractor and would like to see one. I noticed tom224 is from here. Maybe you could contact me and we could talk about your experiences etc.

Thanks,
boat guy (nordic1410@excite.com)

Hello,

The Montana line of tractors is excellent. I know they have a dealer there and here is the website. I notice this is posted in the Chinese Forum but since it is a pretty non-specific post I thought I would send this info

Montana Tractors

G.E. Johnson Trucking, Ltd.
4071Highway #1
Windsor, NS
902-798-5506

Best of luck in finding a tractor.

Thanks for the info. I was really thinking about a chinese tractor because of the cost, but this info is also very helpful. If anybody knows of any other brands please let me know.

Thanks again,
boatguy

Hi,

First off, season's greetings.

Noriker Tractors supply DongFeng Tractors in Ontario and Eastern Canada. I emailed back and forth to Gregory from Noriker and seems to be a regular kind of guy that is very willing to work with you.. Here is the URL for Noriker (http://www.norikerequipment.com) They have a dealer in New Brunswick.
Can't say as I have heard of anyone with TaskMasters in Nova Scotia.
If in Nova Scotia, could consider bringing one up from the
U.S. Greg from Bolton Power Equipment is on the East Coast of the U.S and has been dealing with Chinese tractors for years. From what I heard is a great guy to deal with. Here is his URL as well ( http://www.boltonpowerequip.com/ ) and you might want to send him an email or give him a buzz.

Good luck on whatever you do.

Hi Boat Guy.

I would be happy to sell you a tractor but it might be easier
from a friend, Jim Betts in Coldwater ON. http://www.jinma.ca/
Jim is a good guy and probably has more stock than I do right now.
I'm down to a couple of 284's (R3) and a couple of 354's
(R1) and a 454. Had a real blitz over the last few months,
sold out just about everything. With
winter setting in I don't plan on re-stocking until spring. I get up
to Canada whenever I can. I was up in Montreal last week doing
some christmas shopping. Never miss a lunch stop in Chinatown on
lower Blvd. Rene Levesque. The BEST Chinese this side of Vancouver.
Incidentally I'm always happy to accept
payment in CDN dollars. If you do contact Jim, tell him I said 'Hi"...

Cheers
Graham

Hi Graham,

Sorry bout the name mistake.

Sometimes my mind works faster than my fingers and something gets lost\mixed up in the shuffle.

Gotta be more careful and read what I write.
Ya, I know, that's what spell check, etc is for but what the hey.

Again, my apologies.
