I'm not advertising for RK, but this is price-related too. I forgot to mention in my last post that the heated and air-conditioned cab represents five grand of the $18K price. If you want the open version, it's $13K. Despite RK's less-than-stellar reputation for quality service-after-sale, that's still an impressive price for an 82hp 4wd tractor.

The numbers on the respective spec sheets don't match up well though. Based upon my own experience with RK however, I'm betting those on the Northern site may be more accurate.

To folks that don't want to make their own transportation arrangements - and who actually may need an outsourced warranty - the $7000 spread might not make as much a difference. On the other hand, $7k will buy a xx254 with - money left over.

!!!! Talk faster... 13K for a open framed rops.. 4x4 and 82hp... Humm.. I think I know what asain tractor I'm getting now...

I'm poor,and will buy cheap *** stuff,[got a chinese tractor to prove it],but 13,000 for an 82 hp 4wd???I would even be scared of that,,,thingy
