Takeuchi Tb015 excavator
I've had this mini for awhile and it's been great for what I need, and I want to do some routine maintnence but can't locate filters for it. Anyone know where I can get a fuel filter, water/fuel seperater filter, hydraulic oil filter, air filter? It's a 1994 Takeuchi tb015.

Also, I want to replace all the hydraulic oil, and some people i've talked to say to run motor oil instead of hydraulic oil? I don't want to damage any seals or anything, so what oil is reccomended to replace the 31 litres of hydraulic oil needed?

a couple random pics of projects in the works or done. along with a pic after my track fell off and I had to put on the steel track for alittle, lol. Great forum BTW.

Sorry I can't help on the filter numbers. Do the filters that are on the unit now have any numbers on them? If so you should be able to cross reference them to a locally available filter.

As far as the hydraulic system goes I would use a good quality hydraulic oil. Not only is it designed and formulated for what you are using it for but it's also less expensive than engine oil.

whoa that site is pretty in depth for searching, thanks alot.

And yea I think hydraulic oil is the smartest way, it was just wierd because it was a dealer who told me they run motor oil in all there machines hydraulics now, so I was alittle unsure.
