Its a "Mighty Midget" by Mobilift, runs great! starts right up! electric start or crank start. single cylinder gas engine lifts the forks to about 6'

anyone know more info about these or know how to get info on them? Ive had it for about a month now and figured out I need something bigger so Im going to sell it but Id like to know a little more about this when I put it on ebay...

Thanks guys!
Ian

I was a forklift mechanic for 22 years before I opened my shop. I will tell you everything I know about these..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................thats it.

I've never even seen one before, and I thought I saw about everything. My best educated guess is it's from the sixties. Probably worth more for scrap metal than for use. Being a counter balance unit, I would put it's capacity at 1000lbs, max. Probably even less, unless you're a real big fat guy, then maybe 1100 lbs.. Speaking of capacity, if it does not have a data plate on it with all the capacities, it is illegal for commercial use.

Looks like a couple interesting JD's in one of the pics, was this at a scrapyard?

That is one cool antique looking forklift. Amazing it still works good. Hopefully you will sell it fast and get what you want for it. Are all the goodies in the background yours?

Nice find
