Thanks everyone for the encouragement.
I put on the new teeth and gave it a test run on a footing that I'm digging for my shed. They are clay digging teeth that look like metal with a hook on it and a welded bead on the edge. They are installed facing in and facing out. For a wider trench, I just add 8 spacers to four outside teeth on either side. Seems simple enough.
When digging, it just melted throught the ground. I'm really excited about how easy it was and how quickly it works!!!!

I feel bad.. I picked my earlier model j20 for $380. Found it at the local scrap yard..which could only sale it for $.12cents a pound..mainly wanted all the hydraulics,,,messed around with it..replaced a coil with an old one I had..**** thing fired up and ran..still using it
